Indian sandstone patio clean, Stockton Heath
A grey Indian sandstone patio dulled by algae and green film. Cleaned back to show the colour and pattern in the stone again.

Indian sandstone patios cleaned with the right pressure and cleaner for natural stone, black spot treated, and crumbling joints raked out and re-pointed. Minimum charge £150.
This sandstone patio in Newton-le-Willows was covered in algae and the joints had failed. After a full clean, the old jointing was raked out and the patio re-pointed with ProJoint Titan, which stabilised the slabs and cut down the gaps weeds could grow in.

Cleaning from £150 minimum. Re-pointing is priced separately depending on joint length and condition; send photos showing the joints close up. See all patio cleaning.
In many cases yes, or it fades a great deal. Black spot is a lichen that roots into the stone, so deep, long-established spots may lighten rather than vanish. We'll say what to expect from your photos.
It can if done at high pressure close up, which erodes the surface. We clean natural stone at lower pressure with a cleaner suited to it.
On our most recent sandstone restoration we used ProJoint Titan, a hard-wearing jointing compound for patios.
Photos of the area plus your full address and postcode are all we need. Most prices go out the same day.
