Tarmac driveway clean, Warrington
A tarmac driveway faded and dull with dirt and tyre marks. Cleaned back to a deep, even black.

Moss, algae and grime cleaned off tarmac driveways with controlled pressure, so the surface comes up cleaner without loose stone being stripped out. Minimum charge £150.
Tarmac is softer than concrete or block paving, and older tarmac can have loose aggregate on the surface. We use a rotary surface cleaner at a controlled pressure, work the edges and any moss-lined borders by hand, and finish with a biocide where moss and algae are the problem.
Cracks and potholes are a repair job rather than a cleaning one. Cleaning can make existing damage easier to see, and we'll point it out.

It removes the green and the dirt, which makes a big difference. Tarmac that has faded to grey with age stays grey; cleaning won't restore the black colour.
Too much pressure on old or worn tarmac can loosen the surface stones. We use a controlled setting and check the surface before starting.
