Resin driveway cleaning

Resin bound driveways cleaned with low pressure and a suitable cleaner, so moss, algae and dirt lift out without loosening the stone or marking the resin. Minimum charge £150.

Why resin needs a gentler clean

A resin bound driveway is stone held together with resin. It's porous on purpose, so rainwater soaks through. That's also where algae, moss and dirt settle. Blasting it at close range can pull stones out of the surface, so we clean at lower pressure and let the cleaning solution do the work.

What to expect

Faded or UV-yellowed resin won't change colour with cleaning; we'll tell you if that's what's in your photos.

Questions

Can you pressure wash a resin driveway?

Not at full pressure. High pressure close to the surface can loosen stones and damage the resin. We use lower pressure with a wider spread and a cleaner to do the work.

Why has my resin driveway gone green?

Resin bound surfaces are porous so water can drain through. In shade, algae and moss grow in that surface and dirt clogs it. Cleaning reopens it so it drains properly again.
